Afraid to say that this one was rough for me. I love and adore her so so much but this story didn’t do it for me. I’m so annoyed but she’s still fantastic.

I laughed out loud so many times, which I hardly ever do while reading. It was nasty and absurd, funny and witty, but also very raw and emotional. This one surprised me in the best way.

I have mixed feelings about this one. The Pisces is largely Lucy's inner monologue, which is often emotionally dense and thought provoking in its relationship to Sappho and mythology but it could also be haphazard and messy.

This book was uncomfortably sexual and often really gross, but I felt for the character and the absurdity of the monster fucking really pulled me in.
