I liked the book. The story was interesting, the characters were great, the smut was smutty. It was heavy on the S/M and SA which isn't my cup of tea.

  • okay so i actually recalled liked this overall, which is interesting seeing as i almost stopped reading after the first few chapters
  • like this shit is DARK, and that is implemented from the first chapter where the FMC is engaging in a guy’s fantasies that i just can’t get behind under any circumstances
  • but then you learn more about her and how firm she is with boundaries and wow Nic is a great, powerful FMC that knows what she wants and does what she wants which I LOVE
  • like a lot of the time these gals have no backbone but not with her, she has balls of steel
  • she’s also not straight and has a history of being with girls which i love to see as that is so rarely represented in this genre, so that was very refreshing
  • is she also a bit of a serial killer if we took this all seriously like real life? ok maybe, but in the book it’s “justified” enough for me to look past LOL
  • the men are each their own distinct people which is good, although i didn’t love the fact that Sascha and Vas were brothers who liked to share women it just felt weird as hell lol
  • and although some stuff was for sex and shit, there was a moment where Nic got slapped by one of the brothers (i can’t remember who) and it’s just disgusting and she forgave him way too quickly when i felt she should drop him all together
  • i love when there’s a feral one of the group and that was Oli, who fit perfectly into that little stereotype although he was a bit sunshinier than i am used to for that kind of character.
  • and he was also with Bodhi who was my favorite, who was learning to set boundaries to get over his trauma, who found a safe space not just with Oli but also Nic
  • the knife-play between the three of them was a little bit too good of a read for me lmaoooo
  • the plot kind of came second almost to the relationships at least to me, and although it was engaging enough i guess it didn’t feel like the focus the way it should have been
  • with Nic getting kidnapped at the end and that whole thing it felt very dramatic and that it had kind of come out of nowhere, but maybe that’s just me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  • so overall this book was very different from most stereotypes and others like it, but i enjoyed it overall however with the ending felt that i didn’t mind it stopping where it was and didn’t see the need to continue something that could have stopped there

I’m fluttering between 3 or 4 ⭐️s so I’ll give it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ for now. Wowie, I gotta tell you, do NOT read this if you haven’t read the trigger warning in this book. As someone who generally just look past trigger warnings and go in head first, I got a little concussion with all the boinking going around here.

So, lemme list all the things that could potentially trigger you if you read this book:

• hitting (and i’m talking HITting HARD)
• r*pe (some might tell you that the other scenes with the MCs were CNC but nah bro, that is r*pe)
• knife play
• hunting play

I’m probably forgetting some things but that’s all I could honestly remember because if you don’t brace yourself for the amount of impact this book will hit you with, you’re going to end up tossing this book back to Jupiter.

Anyway, the whole thing was just medium-paced for me and the plot was alright (albeit flimsy but it still works). I am now reading the second book.

4.25/5 stars!

Holy d!ck! We start book one off with some top tier dark spice, and we don't slow down throughout this whole trilogy. I am impressed with how complex this relationship dynamic is, and I was so attached to all the interconnected relationships within this why choose romance. By the end of book 3 Nicollette ends of with 8 other men, but some of these men also share a beautiful relationship with one another. I do think because of the amount of men within this book it was harder for me to really enjoy the relationships of the men that come later in the series due to a lack of relationship development, but the men from book one have my heart and Bo. The plot is super high action, and if you love a strong sassy FMC who is also an unaliver, you're going to love Nicollette!

What to expect:
Idk what order this goes in.... but like an MMMFMMMM, but like two of the guys have a thing for for one guy and two other guys have a relationship with one another and they all have a relationship with her... so yeah
Unalivers
Strong FMC
Like so much spice!
