OK, I have just finished Beautiful Darkness, and i have to say: The first one was better. This book tries to follow its previous, but I'm afraid it hadn't succed. The first half of the book is boring and a mess. Now the other part was good, it actually had some action, but that's it. I totally hope the next one will be better.

I love the descriptive writing the authors present in this series. It is easy to visualize the details and get lost in the story. The main characters are back and grown with their experiences as they naturally would have. The southern-isims
are one of may favorite parts, The authors captured the south and it's charming quirks beautifully. The sisters.......LOL
We get more into the history of the Caster world. There are ties to many people of the town and family that are reveled. New characters inter, one gives up a dream to save their friends/world. Link the best friend side kick is adorable and puts it all out their to be stomped on and nearly killed. His character is what we all want in a best friend. His ex is back and causing trouble, and she brought a friend. He rides in on his bike and tears things apart. It reads like a tornado, everything is thrown about and lands in a new place. The ending has a bang and I can't wait to read the next book.

Lena and Ethan’s journey continues in this book. Lena is trying to deal with what happened to Macon and it is tearing her and Ethan apart. Ethan learns so much on his journey to save Lena. I loved all of the twists and turns in this book. Now onto the third one.

I really liked this a lot more than the first book. There was a lot more action and you saw how Ethan and sometimes Lena would act when they weren't together. There were so many surprises and twists that i ended up loving and new characters such as Liv(loved her). Again it was way better than the first and i would recommend it to everyone!!!

Ethan and Lena are perfect for each other. Throughout the book the reader just wants them to be together.

Hah! Ten days and a lot of broken nerves.

SpoilerThe end was too quick, and I don't like the fact that Macon returned.

And after the fight in The Great Barrier was somehow... quick I guess. But I love the whole Wayward thing, Liv is just special, and it was awesome to read British in my mind, if you know what I mean.

Ridley...idk. She's just fucked up, since she captured John's soul in Archlight, or I think so.

I recommend it if you like being mad most of time. Heh.

Beautiful Darkness is a book that takes you on a journey, uncovering all the hidden secrets. So much of Gatlin is uncovered layer by layer, and falls farther and farther away from being ordinary. (NOT DONE)

this sequel tended to drag on longer than it needed to. I hopw the next one picks up some more momentum than this onr

A good continuation, I thought Lena was acting a bit weird but to be fair to her she thought she was going to hurt everyone. I wish Liv had a different name because Link is already an Li- name
