This one is a challenging gamebook! I really loved the mysterious mood around and the story driven hidden beside each enigmas. I had to use a lot of clues 😅

Fun! I prefered Cypher Files as the story is more enjoyable and better understood but this was quite fun and had a couple of puzzles that got me really thinking. But also that puzzle with the gears was not understandable sorry....

This isn't a book you read, it is a book you solve. I absolutely loved this book. I felt like Lara Croft solving puzzles. You get to combine, cut, google, turn the book around, flip, add, and otherwise use this book out of the box. I can hardly wait to order the next one! More of a narrative would have been good, but still a mysterious treasure in my collection!

An engaging set of puzzles that range for very easy through tough but fair to (just a couple) of stupid hard or just plain unfair. There's one small error in the book as well, but that didn't hold me up... I did get hints for two.

Just not as satisfying or as logical as the first episode - though the storyline made it more sensical and have some sort of reasons for solving attached.

This is brilliantly frustrating, wonderfully difficult and sneakily simple all at once. Well worth it!
