I loved this book since the first words, through out the pages I've managed to really change my opinions on different characters, cry with sadness and joy for Hannah and finally the big plot twist that came up at the end made me feel the same emotions as the main character: anger and hoping the girl will finally get to breath the air of freedom showing that she avenged her father.

I can say with pride that this book is something everyone will love.

i usually don't gravitate towards YA novel centered on romance BUT this is about queer witches so I just had to check it out... and I really enjoyed it for what it was! Pretty average writing, the romance made me cringe at times and I'll probably forget about it in a few months but it was super fast-paced and I had a fun time reading it!!

No tengo taaanto para decir como en los últimos libros pero algunas cositas sí. Para empezar, me gustó mucho! Creo que esperaba que me guste desde antes de empezarlo la verdad, no sé, tenía una vibe muy positiva (?)
Los personajes me cayeron bien, aunque no terminé de morir de amor por ninguno. La que mejor me cayó fue la mejor amiga de Hannah, Gemma, que creo que si hacen película se la roba sin dudarlo. Pero aunque no los amé profundamente, estuvieron bien, fueron lo necesario para articular la historia. Me gustó mucho la representación LGBTQ+ porque no era el eje pero sin embargo era importante. Necesito saber que estamos todos de acuerdo que Verónica es detestable.
En cuanto a la historia, me gustó cómo se desarrollaba y cómo iban entrelazándose los eventos para mantenerte interesad@. Adiviné la identidad de la persona que hacía que pasen todas las cosas malas (aprecien mi esfuerzo en no dar ni pista del género al que pertenece), pero eso no significa que me haya aburrido, y si bien esperaba algunas cosas, lo que más me dolió del libro fue algo que no vi venir así que supongo que se compensó.
Como dato de color voy a decir que recién caigo en que este libro tiene secuela y hasta precuela, así que tendré que leerlos porque me interesa saber cómo sigue todo en Salem. Aparte HOLA MAGIA, no me puedo resistir a los libros donde la magia es un elemento importante, más si tiene una Sabrina la bruja adolescente vibe (la de los 90´, la nueva esta bien pero el Salem que habla es todo lo que está bien) en que la bruja es joven, se mueve en el mundo moderno pero sus lecciones y tradiciones dentro del aquelarre son mucho más orientadas a lo antiguo, y hasta hay un poco de Charmed (vieron que no miento con que me puede la magia?).
Es una lectura ligera, rápida, de esas que recomiendo cuando se está en un bloqueo lector. Pero ojo, si no está en un bloqueo lector también la recomiendo.
