Eddie's engaging writing style perfectly suits the story of the making of Gun Crazy. It's clear extensive research went into this - finding out exactly which pieces of the story and film each collaborator contributed. The images are top notch, too. The book is filled with beautiful full page reproductions of rare posters and promo photos on set.

Lots of good information and scans of script pages, publicity photographs--the works. My one complaint (and I agree with another reviewer here) is I would have liked to see more about the films influence, especially as regards to New Hollywood and the French New Wave.
