Pretty juvenile, and not the most original of stories. It was an interesting concept, but it just didn't feel very realistic. Everything came way too easily to the characters, they didn't speak like kids from the future (more like 1950s), and I didn't like the inclusion of the "thought police". I know the book is set in a slightly dystopian future setting, but really? This is not "1984".
