Oblique, complex, confusing & delightful. Not always an easy read although I like to consider myself a sophisticated reader. I’ll try another of hers.

Strange and surreal. No idea what this was about!

3.5* got the feeling that I only got 40% of it, so much to explore in a second read. For now there were too many unanswered questions.

Wow this book is so... random? But the writing is so good and entertaining.

I'll be thinking about this one for a little bit longer.

3.5. Strange, but completely addictive (much like the gingerbread.) This one might have been easier to track if I had read it rather than listened to it. However, the author's narration is impeccable. Helen Oyeyemi might be a mad genius.
