Historical drama which revolves around the parallel emotional development of a teenaged foster child and an adult victim of the orphan trains which brought destitute children from NYC to the Midwest to be adopted but generally used as unpaid labour. 
Fast, generic read and not very memorable except for the orphan Train history.
