A not-so-great follow-up. The pop-culture references are still there, but they feel forced and much more contrived this time around. The plot was over-complicated and the contrived split between protagonists was unconvincing and unsatisfying. Not a horrible novel by any means, but clearly a less tale to its predecessor.
