Gado-gado ide campuran gulat, necromancy, dan konflik keluarga. Dari idenya , otomatis bintang 4. Eksekusi ilustrasinya yang penuh aksi yang cair bikin buku ini jadi bintang 5

‘Do a Powerbomb’ with story and art by Daniel Warren Johnson is a graphic novel about pro wrestling where the stakes are high.

Lona Steelrose witnesses a wrestling tragedy as a child that affects her personally. Now she is a pro-wrestler who is given a chance to make things right. The stakes are life and death and she is wrestling against the best in the galaxy. She is also teamed up with a masked wrestler she hates who has his own secrets he’s hiding.

Pro Wrestling is inherently overly dramatic and over the top and this story takes it even further. The story is great as is the art.

v good art and good plot that doesn't fuck around or take itself too seriously.

Feels good, big action wrestling comic.
I wish it was longer to allow more action scenes (I wanted the non protagonist matches for instance) and maybe a few more pages for each match. Wanting more isn’t really a complaint.

The intro where Johnson reveals he is relatively new to wrestling is interesting. I think this was a good call, and useful to know going in. It was a little disarming. I think it’s easy to be overly defensive of wrestling, because it gets dumped on so often by completely ignorant folks. I saw two tip offs in the text, but just little nitpicks for ummactuallymoithbreathers. This comic is dope.
