Disclosure: this reviewer's short story is included in the anthology. So, of course, I'm biased.
That being said:
This is so much fun! Such a diverse collection of stories. You get anything from cozy mysteries, medical mysteries, heists, sci-fi, drama and comedy. There's something for every taste.

A few stories that really stuck with me were:
"The Drowning" - how did a woman end up buried in the sand on a beach during the 2020 pandemic? The answer may chill you.

"Two Crooks Walk into a Store" - don't mess up an elderly woman's plans to rob her local store.

"The Rocking R" - An elderly couple, sitting calmly on their porch, has plenty to hide.

"Criminals Like Us" - curiosity is a crime in this dystopian sci-fi story.

And of course, don't forget to read the reviewer's short story: "Change of Heart". Two deaths in one night: a woman bludgeoned to death during a retirement party, shortly before the hostess collapses following an apparent stroke. A former police officer and friend of the hostess can't help but wonder if the two deaths are connected. A story about regrets, greed and psychedelic drugs.
