This installment in the Wheel of time series moved a little slower than the previous one. While there wasn't a lot of action in this book there was a lot of intrigue. I was kind of upset that there was no Perrin POV in "The Fires of Heaven". However the last quarter of this book really picked up. I had a hard time putting it down after it ramped up. I am really looking forward to where this goes from here.

Definitely one of the better books in the series. Books 1-5 by Jordan are great
