Brilliant.
The second chapter in The Dark Tower series is larger, bolder, and increasingly more poignant than what came before it. Picking up a mere seven hours after the events of The Gunslinger, King wastes no time throwing you head long into the action and terror of this world.
There's plenty here to love, and this felt more like a cohesive story than The Gunslinger, which was largely made up of flashback scenes. By the end, I couldn't put it down.
But the journey goes on, the Tower draws closer. My opinion has changed, but I know I've only just scratched the surface.

That was one of the worst books, and sequels, I have ever read. NOT a fan.

I cruised through the end of this book, such an exciting read and great introduction of new characters for the series.
