It’s fun! And kinda funny, I chuckled a few times. Loved seeing Baby Cable and Deadpool meet.

3.5 stars.
Starts off quite slow but picks up by the third issue. Since it's only four issues, there's not much to say since this was pretty much a prelude for the X of Swords crossover, although a very fun one.

It was fine. The story isn’t as interesting as most of the other Krakoan age stuff I’ve been reading and I’m not crazy about the art style. But…. I like the character so I will continue to read this title to find out what happens to this version of him.

Cable has always been my favorite mutant, and ever since Marvel killed off his character to replace him with a younger version, I've been dissatisfied, until this series. Yes, he's still not the Cable of old, but this younger Cable is finally starting to grow on me. The Cable/Dead Pool reunion was the highlight of this volume, and, ironically enough, Dead Pool's disappointment in "Bable" mirrors that of many fans. Also, the Cable/Cuckoos story line was pure gold. I look forward to seeing where this series takes young Cable.

I am a simple man. I see Spaceknights used in a substantial way, and I buy that book. As a longtime ROM Superfan, I was only in this for the Spaceknights. Their backstory is a nice little addition to the lore. So... I got what I wanted. The rest was fine.

I went into this series expecting to dislike it. I am not a big fan of characters that came around in the excess of the 90s. But Duggan makes the story fun and intriguing, though I felt like the artwork was inconsistent.
