Whew. This one has quite a bit to forgive, but it's difficult not to love Orb as you join her on her adventure.

Great addition to the series. Not my favorite but it helps fill in the gaps.

My mom gave me this book because it's part of her favorite series. It's only 301 pages, so not really that long. I feel like a lot of stuff happened without a whole lot of detail. I did have an enjoyable time through the whole book. It for sure kept me entertained. I just usually prefer events to be more written out. I may read the rest of the series, but I have so many others to read it may take me awhile if ever.

I have read some reviews that have said this book was to be the last in the series, an I can understand that because Anthony does a superb job of tying everything together from the previous four novels. But I also know there are three more books I can't wait to read!

This book is much like the others--where it follows the process of a new incarnation taking office, however, it differs in that the new Green Mother doesn't take her office until the last hundred or so pages. The majority of the book is Orb's (Luna [Death's girlfriend]'s 'cousin/sister' and Niobe [Fate]'s daughter, War's old girlfriend, and Orlene [Time's gf]'s mom) quest for the song of the Llano--the song that can heal the sick, cure addiction, etc.

A good read!

I was hoping that since this book combines basically my two biggest passions (music and nature), it would be my favourite one. I was certainly expecting it to be, but I was very disappointed in this. Nature is supposed to be the most powerful of the Incarnations (except of course for Satan and God) but that wasn't too apparent. Very little of the book had to do with what the Nature Incarnation actually does. The whole book is bland without much character, and even the handsome man who makes her fall in love with him through his song (long a fantasy of mine) doesn't make up for it. I must admit, the ending was very cool, but overall this book does not do Nature justice. Not happy.

Better than fate, not as good as Mars or death.

Excellent last chapter

Quite possibly the weakest in the series. It was originally meant to be an ending, but I'm very glad that he didn't stop at this one.

Once again, I loved Gaea / Gaia. Once again, I loved Orb.
From the original 5, only Chronos is still messing with my head, others are just in my heart. I'm looking forward to 6&7 which I have never read...yet.
