Demmans takes the reader on a journey of sexist and racist cartoons that at one time were mainstream published in America for children and adults subtly brainwashing the masses (much like talk radio with more visuals). After reading, it's a miracle our country isn't more xenophobic and sexist. I can even recall reading some of these as a child and thinking a few were even funny or risque at the time. A bonus goes to Demmans for including in the extras the Country/Southern stereotype, which still permeates much of the rural snub today.
