A young girl wakes up one morning with giant elk-like antlers! While her family members (and medical and educational professionals) are shocked, Imogene quite enjoys it. The family is relieved when she walks downstairs the next day without antlers...but she now has beautiful tail feathers!
A good choice for reading aloud to a classroom.

This is still just as funny as when I read it over and over when I was a little girl.

The main character, Imogene is so adorable, open-minded and oblivious to the situation at hand. What an unusual and interesting play of events portrayed in this short story.
