I love Grunwald’s Cap overall. Usually the worst you can say is that parts have aged badly or he doesn’t write women very well (though not worse than most of his contemporaries). But the fact that this storyline takes seriously the argument “Cap, the super soldier serum is a drug too, you hypocrite!” is bonkers, and not the good kind of comic book bonkers. You gonna go after the diabetics next? People with seasonal allergies?
