Such a cute story with an important, relatable message. I love the dad character. There are some narrative elements that could use some more finessing, but the story is just so adorable.

This was such a great book about being yourself no matter what. You were made perfectly, so if you like to sparkle, then you sparkle your little heart out. Sparkella starts to wear less sparkles in the book because other kids don’t seem to like her sparkles too much, but, with her dad’s help, she decides to be herself, and ends up making friends and feels great!

I love everything about this book - especially the dedication that included a message to dads. I am very happy this book exists.

"When I'm nervous about how things will be I close my eyes and put my hand on my heart and I know that everything I could need is already there inside of me."

You can surely feel the love that Tatum has for his daughter and the magical times that they spent playing together in this book full of love, heart and staying true to the person that you know you are on the inside and being okay with what others think about how that reflects on the outside.
