Honestly, I couldn't finish the book, and I really wanted to. The story is great, and I was really invested. But the writing left much to be desired.

good book. could do with some revision, and the only female doesn't make a lot of sense even when you get her perspective. but overall I liked it.

What I liked about City of Rogues:

1. The characters. While it took a while for me to actually connect with them, I found that they grew on you. My favorites were Wyck, Lucius, and Randall.

2. It is a fantasy novel. I love fantasy novels!!!!!!

What I disliked about City of Rogues:

1. I didn’t like that fact that the book was hard to follow in the beginning. There was another book written before that I didn’t read. It took me a couple of chapters before I got what was going on. A prologue would have been nice.

3. The ending. It was too abrupt and too pat. It seemed that everyone got together at the right time and all the loose ends were taken care of.
