Western
Well-written Western with lots of tension. The name of the town--Black Powder--is exquisitely well-chosen considering what happens there. The word "ballad" is also well-chosen--don't expect a happy ending for all.
Nethercott does a superb job weaving the threads together for his explosive ending.
Although I do want to know what the future held for Quinny (hopefully a brighter one).
