wanted more out of this. felt like on the precipice of scary so many times, but otherwise good book. interesting how many books i’ve read lately that equate food with emotions or put such an emphasis on food as an outlet or coping mechanism. this felt like a certain hunger, supper club, and tender is the flesh mixed together.

I really wanted to love it but it was just so boring. I hated all the characters and didn’t care what happened to them, and by the end I was skimming every page just to finish. The 2 stars are pretty much exclusively because of the amazing cover art.

3.5 - mixed feelings about this one. The middle felt a little aimless and mean spirited, but I loved when it went off the deep end in the last few chapters.
