I loved Isabelle and Sam. It's worth reading to get to know both of them. The writing is lovely and the story compelling, but there are large leaps required.

I really enjoyed this story, but I was a little bit disappointed in the ending. I felt that there was a lack of accountability for Charlie that was warranted, and hardass that I am, I would have preferred to see him called out a bit for weak behavior. Other than that, thumbs up.

Extremely emotional story from the beginning to the end. I throughly enjoyed the plot twists and ideas behind the story. Do you ever really know all of someone?

I enjoyed it but the ending felt unsatisfying, even though maybe it was more realistic than what I wanted.

Two women from the same town decide to leave their husbands on the same day, and end up crashing their cars at a location hours away. The survivor struggles with guilt, the family of the dead woman has plenty of issues. More and more stuff happens.

I stopped reading at 57% in, and then I skimmed the rest until the end. I didn't feel for the characters, the situations felt either too predictable or too unrealistic. The writing style is decent, it just didn't grab me.

The story was good but I didn't like the fact that Isabelle and Charlie didn't end up together when it was so obvious that they were meant to be (so in love)

This was a good, fun read for me - despite a number of inconsistencies in the storyline and details - that was good for vacation reading. I liked the way things ultimately played out and thought there was some good food for thought mixed in to the narrative.
