I listen to this as an audiobook. I absolutely love Sandra Brown as a writer but this book just went on and on it didn't have nearly the star power that I typically get from Sandra Brown books that doesn't mean I'm not going to read more of her books it just means this one isn't my favorite.

Another delayed NetGalley read/re-read. I'm glad I took the time to listen to this thriller because I don't remember the story.
When a mother of two finds herself being followed and threatened, her unlikely protector shows up next door. Having been hurt by her dead ex-husband in the past, she's not too thrilled to find a reporter camped next door claiming he wasn't there for a story.
Instead, what ensues is a journey to find a dead man who is hell bent on ending the life of his wife and taking his children away. But they all have a few secrets which makes trusting anyone even harder.
Great quick read with some twists and of course a couple happy endings.

Predictable love relationship, as usual in Sandra Brown novels, but the final twist was completely unexpected. I enjoyed this.
