Wow, this was heartbreaking and hard to read at times. I believe we have all heard about child actors struggle from fame and addiction but to hear from Jennette's own words, it puts it into perspective. I was unable to stop reading and finished it in one reading. I'm glad to hear that she is recovering well and I wish her the best for the future.

I want to make it clear that my rating is not a reflection of what happened in this book because that's Jennette's personal life and it's unfair to rate someone's life story. my rating is based off of the incredible narration, the descriptive storytelling, and my connection to some of Jennette's thought processes throughout her eating disorder. this was honestly a pretty difficult read just because of the subject matter, but the story was told incredibly well. I definitely related to some of Jennette's thoughts during her mental illness, so this helped me understand her perspective even more than from just her narration of the events that took place in her life. I definitely recommend the audiobook version of this book because Jennette narrates it herself!
