I kind of adore Antimony Price. And I am so, so thrilled that she's going to be in a roller derby league. Now, I just need some Aeslin mice cameos and I will be a happy, happy girl.

Introducing Antimony! I feel for her - it's got to be hard to have to constantly stop doing the things you love because you might get noticed. It does bring up some interesting questions about why Verity is allowed to dance, but I'm hoping that'll get explained.

This mixes two of my favourite things:The InCryptid series and roller derby. It was nice to have a peek at the much talked about Antimony but it was much too short.

I like Verity. Alex is aight. Verity I love. I love Verity with all the dark-hearted adoration in my antisocial little soul.

It was nice to meet Antimony, and I hope we'll see more of this roller derby team in the future maybe.

Roller derby and lesbians, what's not to love? Not entirely sure how I feel about Antimony yet, but I'm sure I'll figure that out as I read more of her stories.

This was kind of adorable.

The waxing poetic about cheerleading was out of my frame of reference (the cheerleaders at my high school were a bunch of Mean Girls), so I couldn't relate to that, but ROLLER DERBY is frickin' cool. And I love that Antimony, whom we've yet to directly meet, but about whom we've heard borderline scary things, was introduced to us at a vulnerable time in her life.

Makes her seem less insane.

Not bad, and a good, quick intro to Antimony Price, though I read her other short story, [b:Bad Dream Girl|17565325|Bad Dream Girl (InCryptid, #2.2)|Seanan McGuire|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1362776165s/17565325.jpg|24499873] first. A little light on action, but in 20 pages, I think you can't expect too much.

Blocked introduces the youngest of the Price siblings, Antimony. She's not yet had her own book, which made it somewhat more difficult to relate to her in such a short story.

She was mostly a teenager and the cryptids didn't feel like the most important part of the story. I am curious to see how her story develops though.
