I was glad that the bennis/Gregor romance was set aside for this one (did I miss the wedding or was it between books?). And I like the new more forceful Gregor. The story was good though I got a little confused at the end. This one will keep me reading the series.

Good read - I like the layered subplots and the charactar driven plot.

I like this series. This was a fun mystery to read. Gregor Demarkian is a great police consultant. This book is about a death and a mystery that goes back a decade. He is like the Armenian/American Poirot.

Haddam's books are always very good; this one is no exception.
