bro rlly fell in love with what is essentially the equivalent of a ceramic vase

In many ways, I liked this book a whole lot better than its prequal. There is a lasting theme through-out the whole book that they didn't have in the Jackson series and they don't have in the Jackson knock-off. This story was a whole lot more glue-your-eyes-to-the-page-ish than any of his previous books have been, the other books had their moments, but they didn't have you the whole time.

Me ha costado un poco más de leer en comparación al primero. En momentos Sadie me desesperaba, pero de todas formas leer sus narraciones era sencillo, pero en este libro prefiero las que hace Carter que irónicamente son las que poseen un poco menos de acción.

My feelings about this are somewhat similar to my feelings about the first book. This was fine, but I feel like nothing really happened. For example, when Sadie and Carter were in the Duat, I was expecting a lot more to happen, but nothing really did. This is pretty much just a bridge book between the first and last books.

I'm also really not a fan of this weird love triangle that's formed between Sadie, Walt and Anubis. Sadie is 13! I feel like it's just completely useless and a waste of time and that it shouldn't be happening. Also, Anubis is a literal god???

This was an okay book. I'm excited to see how this series all wraps up, but this was definitely just a bridge.
