The Throne of Fire isn't as brilliantly crafted as The Heroes of Olympus or Percy Jackson, but nonetheless it's still pretty good. Carter and Sadie have the trademark hilarious, sarcastic voices that characterize most of Rick Riordan's characters, and there's definitely a lot of character development throughout the book. Egyptian mythology adds an educational and intriguing twist to the plot, which is strengthened by emotion and suspense. However, I felt like the ending was a little disappointing; the Kane siblings worked so hard and they really didn't deserve what happened at the end.

Me entretuvo.

Excellent. Wish there were more in this series.

I genuinely love the Kane siblings, I love their dynamic, I love how much they keep growing and how this story is going
I love how many elements of Egyptian mythology there are, at times it feels overwhelming with all the information but I did genuinely really like this book and can’t wait to read the final one in the series
