Not bad by any means, but perhaps a bit too long and detailed for my needs. More a chronological account of her life than anything with specific aim of teaching or a through line.

If you are not a die hard O’Keeffe fan when it might be hard to go through this book. As it was for me. About mid-way I knew everything I wanted and it just dragged for another 300 pages. It is nicely researched and put together, but... Why do I need to know how many times and with who she visited Lake George? I don’t.

Such a comprehensive and thoughtful look at the life and work of an artist whose work spanned many decades.

Well written and very detailed. Felt it could be a little shorter there did feel to be a little repetition. An amazing and interesting woman.
