I'm sure this book works better as an audiobook, but i still very much enjoyed reading King's most remarkable speeches. The speeches are introduced by people who were heavily involved with the Civil Rights Movement and who actually got to witness some of King's most memorable moments. (For example, the first speech is introduced by Rosa Parks herself.) The most touching speech to me is the very last speech King ever gave, just a night before his assassination. King was a remarkable public speaker and a person and i really think this is an important book. since even today, almost 50 years after his death, King's words are more relevant than ever.

Brilliant! What’s better than just reading the words or having them read aloud is having MLK, Jr. speak them via a recording. I wish my library had all of the speeches and writings in audiobooks from this collection.

The message is timeless and timely. Wonderful rhetoric and a great recording of MLK, Jr. speaking this work.
