Some parts felt rushed but overall it was well done. A fitting ending for the series.

I wish these books gained more popularity. I know it’s a very weird concept, but that’s the point of dystopia. I loved the characters and the maze of challenges they went through.

In the final installment of the trilogy, Pressia and Bradwell are at odds on whether to advance the creation of a serum to "fix" the wretches and on whether or not to bring down the Dome. Partridge takes over leadership of the Dome after his father's death but realizes he has little control and the Pures are more fragile than he expected.

Didn't like how the storyline with Partridge and Lyda played out, and we see the death of a major character, but stories don't always have happy endings.

not sure if this series is going to have a 4th book - almost hoping it doesn't as the end of this one was not typical and therefore way more interesting.

I loved the ending. I was crying my eyes out, but I loved it. I felt so bad for all my favorite characters...Pressia, Cap, Helmud, Bradwell...my heart hurts just thinking about it. Great conclusion to this trilogy.

Every page turned for this book made my heart heavier. I didn't want it to end which is why I've waited so long to read this and then to review it. I know I can always go back and read it again but I know that won't be happening for a while. These books I have to be in the mood for and the season to read them is when the weather is biting cold and you have somewhere to bunker down for the long haul.

I loved this book even though I definitely cried for Pressias loyalty to her family and what it means to have one and to make one. I loved El Captians and helmunds whole dynamic. Bradwell was a little too aloof and a little too clingy at times though it's understandable. I loved what the mothers were doing especially who they were and what their plans were when they got inside the domes. I loved not knowing who to trust in the domes I loved that so much.

There are some complaints. I disliked the the Ireland dome didn't give them anything to eat the ash for the colonies. Or to even bring anyone over to help. I also didn't like the super open ended ending I did want some closure as to what will happen next. Though I will count my blessings that the author isn't going to make a million $1.99 short companion stories to go along with the books, I hate that. I hate that it's becoming a rule and not an exception. But that's a side rant for another series on another day.

For fans of the previous two books who are looking to bring down the dome and give Pressia a happy ending.

I absolutely loved this trilogy. I felt like the characters all had a nice depth to them and were not just flat. The story was capturing and kept you at the edge of you seat the entire time. The only thing I wish Burn had was an epilogue just know finish up the lives of the characters especially with how it ended. Other then that it was just brilliant.

I read this series because I had received the third and final book, Burn, for review. I cannot believe I was missing out on such an amazing masterpiece of the dystopian genre, and the whole book writing career as a whole.
Pressia and Partridge are separated again. Pressia is with Bradwell and El Capitan searching for the truth about their existence and why the Denotations happened and whether the world outside survived. Partridge is inside the Dome with Lyda, moving his father's regime and making his people accept to live with the Wretches outside the Dome. But it's not that easy. And a lot of things will happen that none of them would have expected.
The world-building in this final book in the trilogy was phenomenal. It was dense, vivid, and it felt so real, you could almost feel like you are right there, with the characters. This is an amazing feeling that not many authors accomplish.
But it's also clear that Julianna Baggott's books concentrate more on her characters and what actually happens to them. They are more character-oriented than plot-oriented. And I like that a lot. her characters shine through in this book. And she breathed new life into them. They are like long-time friends that you know every single thing about. The familiarity with the characters was increasing along with every single page, so it's really hard to part with any of them when the time comes.
The romance was beautiful. Not as much present as I hoped it would be. But the times that it dominated over the plot were wonderful. I admire love stories in hard times, they are such a great example of how humans are capable of the purest of emotions in the worst of times. The ending was something I DID NOT expect at all. When I turned the last page, I was shocked. I kept tapping on my phone seeing if i got a bad version or something. Because it just could NOT finish like that. I have to say that when I first finished this book,I HATED the ending. Literally. But now that a couple of weeks have passed, I don't hate it anymore, I just wanted an ending with more definite shape. I wanted to know what was going to happen to my characters. There were too many loose ends for my taste.
Nonetheless, I am very sad that this series is over. Because it turned itself into one of my favorites in the span of only a couple of weeks while i read all three books. I am waiting, patiently, of course, for Julianna Baggott to write her next masterpiece.

An incredible book, an incredible series.

Series often feel rushed, or stretched out. It seems like series usually have at least one (often multiple) bad books, and only one or two good ones. This one is not one of them. This series was amazing from beginning to end! I felt for the characters, stayed up until 3am, and went on a crazy ride. An amazing ending to an amazing series.
