I listened to the Audible version, which was not well done. The reader/actor has like three modes of inflection so every character sounded the same. The premise is interesting though

Moves so far through time that it's hard to grip a hole of anyone to like. The idea of marooning and blockading a bunch of troublemakers on a faraway land and then watching as the non scientific workers sent to support them revolt was gripping and clever. But not much else was.
