This book is a beautiful memoir that stirs emotions in a way I can't put words to. Challenging at times, it really shows the resilience of humans. I loved it and would reccomend it to anyone looking to expand their bookshelf!

First couple of chapters were very engaging, but I felt like the rest of the book has a didactic, rote tone. There are few details and I lost access to the narrator's voice, thoughts, etc. An important story, but flat.

A truly beautiful, inspiring,  and infirmary story.  I'm readout grateful that she had the ability to share her experiences and I was able to read them.
