Reviews with content warning for Sexual content - We Are Okay

This is a sweet and sad, but beautiful story overall. I would say though that if you prefer to read books for a younger audience, this book might not be for you. For me though, this might be on of my new favorite books.

I read a review that is 100% what i felt like with this book:
"In some ways you spend the entire length of the book, hoping but not sure what you’re hoping for. Whatever it is, you only finish with half of what you hoped for"

Not much else to add. Beautiful story about grief.

This was strikingly beautiful. I didn’t expect to be taken by it like I did. The book masterfully took me along the journey of Marin’s emotions and I could feel so much with her.
The characters and their relationships were incredibly thought through and every detail seemed to work together. I’m so impressed by the execution of this.
