I finished book #4 well over a year ago, so I had forgotten basically everything. It took me ages to get into, though clearly eventually I did. If you like this series then obviously yes I recommend. Just gird your emotions. So many emotions.

One thing I wasn't expecting were the sex scenes. Maybe my memory sucks but I don't remember them being that explicit in the other books. Now, I'm all about those kind of scenes and books, but I also like to be prepared for them. I was like, wait - what am I reading right now?

But overall I enjoyed this book and I can't wait for the next one.

The first SJM book where I didn't get pissed off when we switched POVs because I was equally invested in all of the characters. So much action. So much romance. So much character development and scheming. Chef's kiss. I need more Elide x Lorcan.
