I like a good chick lit and for me, this ticked all the boxes. I really admired the Ceri's determination to follow her heart despite that meaning giving up everything she new for something completely unknown in an entirely new part of the country. I also wish I had the courage to say some of the things she had said to help people sort out their issues - frank but sympathetic at the same time.

The only thing that irritated me about this novel was Ceri's obsession with the T.V. show 'Angel'. I didn't really feel that this added anything to the story other than to link in with her potential love interest having the same name at the end of the novel.

I love Dorothy Koomson, she is one of my favourite authors! She writes excellent page turning modern day romantic novels perfectly. I prefer some of her other novels over this, I believe this was her debut, she’s grown as a writer for sure! Worth a read

Okay what I loved about this book was the way it ended. It ended the way I imagined but it still caught me by surprise.

The storyline was quite slow at the beginning, skimmed through some lines honestly, I began to get interesting in the middle.

I liked the characters development and how some things were revealed slowly towards the end.

It was a good read bit I won't recommend for someone trying to get out of a reading slump might just put you back in it

NO, SERIOUSLY!

That's what I did when I finished the book. I squealed, incoherently. And it felt so so so good to do that. This book was so freaking awesome.

I seriously don't know how to review this book. I don't want to review this book.

This is one of those books I don't want to share with anyone. Crazy, right? Because usually when you find something this good, you want others to fangirl about it, but this one? Nope. Because, well, because reasons! :P

Also, her 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' is my 'Supernatural'
Her 'Angel' is equivalent to my 'Winchester Brothers'.

P. S. I have no idea what purpose, if any, this 'review' serves! :P
