The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: A Trilogy in Five Parts by Douglas Adams

Finished reading The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy by Douglas Adams for the 4th (?) time I think. Was reading it to Shane and my parents in evening installments every few days and it's just as good as it ever was. This book is so special in my family, it's like our family book. We quote from it so often and my sister and I were brought up on the BBC adaptation as well as the radio play (the less said about the film the better). I first read the book when I was 16 and it's lost none of the delights it had for me then. Ultimate clever silliness, I absolutely love it. 5 stars always.

Honestly, I would summarise the book in three letters and disregard any other mish-mash:
"LOL"

Also, it precisely took me a year to finish the book. February 25, 2022, to February 26, 2023...
which was not deliberate at all, and now I think I am part of some mysterious force,
just kidding,

I am not a nut,
or am I?
part of some mysterious force?

But that one year, when I keep on coming to this naughty thing, I chose to expand the horizon of my consciousness, moved to a new language-speaking state (Gujarat to Maharashtra), and loved the "shift"..

so, decided to move to another country, and get a taste of a different culture (or universe), pinned upon Europe... also decided to change my discipline from computer engineering to system neuroscience, thought that would also expand the horizon of my consciousness

Soon be moving out to experience something interesting called life. let's see

I never thought I'd love a comical book, but I really couldn't put it down. It invokes such vivid mental images of the spaces where the story takes place. It also has some very relevant commentary on the current state of America, which was incredibly interesting. It definitely made me want to read every single Douglas Adams book.
