I started reading this book a couple of years ago but DNF, for reasons unknown. I'm not big on non-fiction (especially of the "self-help variety)and while I liked the straightforward writing and the examples, I felt a lot of (self-imposed) pressure to start lots of good habits and change my life IMMEDIATELY.
This time, I got a skip-the-line (7-day) loan from Libby on the audiobook version and I tore through it. I'm feeling inspired to take a closer look at some areas of my life that could use some fine tuning and see where it takes me. It helped that it was only 6 hours long.

Ok, this one is a big winner from James Clear, and when I say big I mean big. I always believe in the power of habits and the first book I read on habits was "The Power of Habits - Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business". While that book wasn't a bad book and it lay a good foundation for me it was a bit to theoretical. In contrast the book by James is done in a more practical format for persons to follow along with.
I have implemented so many things from this book. Actually I have implemented almost everything from this book with great success. I actually read it twice and did some PowerPoint presentations and currently doing a habit series with our men's group in church with some great reviews.
Since reading I have recommended this book to everyone I know. Good Job James and keep up the good work!
Guys get this book...!

This books has so many helpful insights and the concepts are explained in a way that’s very easy to understand. It’s helped reframe a lot of issues I struggle with and since reading this book I’ve been more on track with my goals and am creating healthier habits more consistently.
I read it on my e-reader and am planning once a year to reread my highlighted sections. If you’re someone who struggles with bad habits or motivation I definitely would recommend this book.
