Maxwell is a cute little monkey who cuts and combs different animals hair. He's challenged when an elephant shows up, but manages to come up with a solution.
Although I likes the repetitious refrain, the rhythm of the poetry didn't work for me.

This is a fun book about getting a haircut, even when you have no hair to cut. Be you a lion, a bear or an elephant, Maxwell can help you out. Lovely.

Maxwell the Monkey Barber by Cale Atkinson is such a cute read! I don't read many children books but I would love to get this for my niece. She would love the colors and animals; it's a quick read that bright a smile to my face. NetGalley Review
