3.5 stars. It was the Sherlock Holmes name that attracted me, but that was probably the story that impressed me the least. (Fair warning: The other stories are not about Holmes or even mysteries.) However, the other stories were interesting and I appreciated the lack of typos and grammatical errors, at least as far as I can remember, having read this over the span of a couple of months, and a couple of times the writing approached the lyrical.

So, I chose this book because of the Sherlock Holmes' story, and well, it was a bit of a letdown. Not bad, but nothing memorable either.

The other three stories weren't particularly interesting for me, either. They were okay, but just not my cup of tea.

Chris MacDonnell does a great job with the narration, though.
