Chapter 9 of 10 was superb and would get 5 stars, thought provoking!
The final chapter was alright, nothing really special. The rest of the book was not good; long never ending sentences, a main character I absolutely loathe, a wired story, nothing is really explained and some character are just forgotten and others serve no purpose.
Was sadly disappointed.

I was struck by how there are a lot of similarities between the structure of this and The Castle, and I have to say I think I preferred The Castle. However the end is very impactful and having just visited the Kafka museum in Prague I have a newfound appreciation for the parallels between K and Kafka's own life (needing time off work for sickness, for example).
