Apparently a lot of people didn't like this but I had fun? Did I expect multiple musical references in this book no

And I thought Deadpool was spreading his seed through all comics. Yet who should show up pulling the deception strings on this entire arrangement, but literally the only decent villain Marvel writers seem to be able to insert anymore. I mean, I love me some Loki, but it's getting difficult to tell whether it's Old King Loki coming back to do mischief in the past or if current God if Stories Loki keeps yo-yo-ing between trying to be a decent being and just being his old-school dickhead self. *sigh*

Deadpool I thought was pretty much dead on but Gambit not so much and I did not get the whole Loki entanglement... I mean, okay, the trickster and those two make a certain sense but if you're going to bring Loki in this story do it right and if you're gonna knock down that 4th wall, why write Loki like some Lilithfair amateur?

This was a fun ride, and Deadpool did not disappoint. I also loved Gambit, although I understand the complaint that he fades a little into the background. His sarcastic takes and side jokes are a lot more subtle, and I liked it that way.
