4.5 because I think Magnus is not that goofy as book 1 but it is arguable since this book is more heartfelt with some issues, like Heartstone story :"( and Magnus and Randolph relationship :")
anyway, can't wait to start book 3.

oH PRAISE THIS SERIES! I, no joke, read HALF of this book after testing today and it was phenomenal. I love Magnus so much, AHHHH! I also love Alex (not the irl one hA), the new character introduced. This is the first time I've seen (deserved) transgender representation in literature (reasons why I love Rick). LGBT+ representation won't just do with the occasionally gay character that isn't even mentioned often (which happens in books).
Also...a calmly written sentence that obviously does not display any possible form of excitement...
AND ANNABETH COMES UP IN THE END, SO I'M HYPED FOR BOOK THREE LATER THIS YEAR WOOOO.
