I've always been really interested in how people die. I read [b:Final Exits: The Illustrated Encyclopedia of How We Die|91942|Final Exits The Illustrated Encyclopedia of How We Die|Michael Largo|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1171239076s/91942.jpg|88682] which was brilliant, and moved on to this book. Which is well... um, tasteless is the wrong word because we're dealing with a tasteless subject. But really rude and disrespectful.
For example, the stories in the book have headlines like "Cop Killer," which isn't so bad, but what is, is "Suicidal Nut," "Top Ten Ridiculous Suicides", and "Beam Me Up, Nutty" are just a few. With the suicides, those people were in trouble and could find no way out, I just personally don't think that they warrant you calling them "nutty" and "idiot."
And most of the stories are just bad luck, not idiotic moves like the tourist who, after swimming, got out of the pool and was struck by lightning which came from a rouge cloud in an otherwise empty sky. Not really funny nor idiotic. Just sad because the lightning also set fire to a nearby thatched roof killing a friend and deafening his kid.
