I cannot adequately convey the level of utter batshit crazy this book is.
I am very concerned about the following;
He has a serrated cock that flares out like that dinosaur in Jurassic park. And he secretes copious amounts of hazelnut flavored “snard” that causes immediate orgasms. None of that is a typo.
He is some type of cat alien who purrs a lot and “strops” against the female lead and licks her mouth.
I had to stop and listen to murder podcasts because there was just too much nope.
The girl is kind of a dick a lot and she turns southern about 3/4ths through the book.
There are 8 other books that I won’t be reading. I enjoy a crazy plot but this was some level I was not prepared for.

This was an enjoyable read and a great escape. There is not very much SciFi romance out there and as a story this was pretty good. She created a believable futuristic space travel universe with different planets and aliens.
OK so some reviewers state that the Hero, Cat, is flat or without personality. But I think that those opinions are because it was all written in first person with only Jack's, Jacinth's, input. This is not the norm for romances and gives insight into only her mind, you have to judge him by what she tells you.
If you are into SciFi and Romance/erotica this is probably a book for you. I read straight through it. I loved the planet she created.

I thought this was a surprisingly endearing read, especially considering it's Brooks's first novel!
Cat and Jacinth were adorable as a couple, and I found myself laughing out loud more than once (especially at the descriptions of some verrrry revealing outfit choices on a certain planet.)
It is much more erotica and insta-lust than romance, but the bickering-filled romp around a strange planet with a cat-like hero was more than enjoyable to read. Lots of fun! And thank you to my dear friend, Lindsey, for recommending this one to me! :)

While completely ridiculous and parts of it I thought a little over the top, I was completely addicted to this book and thought it was a lot of fun.

This book is somehow really smutty without being very sexy. It could be all of the exposition! or at-times annoying 1st person narrative from the heroine's POV! which is frequently focused on the sexual traits of the aliens she encounters! which have descriptions that are more clinical than sensual! Or it could be the rampant exclamation points--if you had a drinking game where you took a drink every time you saw an exclamation point, you'd have alcohol poisoning before the end of the first chapter.

Just meh. Some of the ideas were interesting, but the writing fell flat for me.

Wildly inventive storytelling! I’ve been interested in reading this book. I ordered online since it’s not available or in print anymore. I will surely find all the rest of these stories. I highly recommend if your into alien sci-fi romance!! I can’t believe this book was written in 2008! It’s ahead of its time in world building.
