A sweet story and a great start to the Carlingford series. Mrs Thompson makes an unexpected will that sends waves through the small community and redirects the course of several lives. This is a four chapter novella so i can't say much more because of spoilers but I really enjoyed it and I definitely recommend reading it.

An enjoyable short prequel to the Carlingford series.
