This was such an absolute fun book to read, it made me laugh so much. It's an insta-love, quick read about Matt and Cal, perfect if you need just a fun uplifting book.

This was ridiculous and exactly what I needed. Sometimes you just want a story that doesn't take itself too seriously.

A quick light read, not much in the smut department, but still quite romantic. Had me laughing a few times which is always nice. You can kind of see where the plot is going right from the get go but it's a short story that is fun to read so there's nothing really wrong with that. I would recommend to anyone who likes silly, funny over the top MM romance.

I don't think that I've ever laughed so hard at a book before. Matthew Darcy is the perfect combination of snarky and insecure that makes you love him even more. When he saves Cal's life, everything changes for him but he doesn't believe that he deserves it, although he falls for Cal each time they meet. The story has a great cast of secondary characters that bring the story to life, it's Matthew and his feelings for Cal that make the story absolutely wonderful! For a good laugh and a lovely romance, this is the perfect book!

Funny

This was funny, romantic, and completely ott. Definitely more fairytale than anything. It had me laughing out loud so many times. Very low on the heat scale but high on romance.

Okay so I gave this book 4 stars because it was absolutely hilarious like rolling on the floor laughing but it is more of a 3.5/3 with the break up it made me so mad like Cal freaked out so much over something that most people would be like yep that’s normal to try and make sure you’re partner is not with someone else and the fact that Matt wasn’t angry about it made me even angrier. If you want a book that’s really funny but unrealistic I suggest this book like I really do but that break up was horrible. But likely one of the funniest books I have ever read. Like insanely funny.

This book had me lol multiple times - in a way it was just a little bit too funny and felt like the jokes made it hard to stay in the story, but as a fun quick read, I would recommend it if you want a lot of levity.

After having finished "War and Peace" last year, this was just what my poor tired brain needed to start the new year right. :-)
