I actually really liked this book. The main hold-up I have with it is it's supposed to be E2L but she gets with him in like the 4th chapter. She did not stay mad at him for long enough imo

Blake and Hutch have known each other since they were kids. Their families go way back. When Blake was 16 Hutch had her sent away, her hate grew for him. Now as an adult Blake’s in trouble and the only one who can help is Hutch…… I love hutch, he’s protectiveness for Blake is so heartwarming and his love knows no bounds.

DNF @ 25% — I may continue on with the other books in this series and/or circle back to their story. My mood is taking me elsewhere for now.

Fast plot, mysterious suspense and a super hot steamy couple!! Tia brought ALL my springtime joy in her latest book, Fearless.

This book does not stop once it begins. Action, mystery, great secondary characters, and super steamy romance all combine into one of Tia Louise's best books.

Between the sleepy town of Hamiltown and the big city of New York there is danger headed for the van Hamilton daughters and Hutch Winston has been hired to protect them. Blake's uncle sends word to his nieces to come visit him under, but when they arrive he's missing. Thus sets off a dangerous adventure and a dive into their past feelings that ignites into a blazing fire.

Hutch is a PI in Hamiltown, working alongside his brother Dirk and his silent, but best friend, Scar. Between these three no case has ever gone unsolved, but the van Hamilton's are certainly giving them a run for their money. (There is a lot of underlying tension between Scar and Blake's sister Hana too- yum.)

This book is non-stop adventure and I hope we get to visit these characters again, especially the vivacious Pepper, Hutch's niece. She's just too adorable.

Fearless
A Thrilling, Enemies-to-Lovers Romance
By: Tia Louise
Narrated by: Lee Samuels, Samantha Brentmoor

Now this is exactly what I love to listen to! A friends to enemies, action packed romance with fantastic characters and a great plot! Tia Louise brings us Fearless! Hutch has always been interested in Blake, but her being sixteen kept him away from his twenty-one year old self. Now years later, and situations that cannot be taken back have occurred, Blake and her sister, Hana are called to her Uncle's house, and Hutch's job is to keep them safe. Safe from what? We aren't sure, but there is danger lurking, and we don't know who we can trust! People aren't who they appear to be, others are missing or dying. It's a crazy time, but the one thing that remains clear are the unresolved feelings between Blake and Hutch. The question is will she forgive him for his past involvement in her life? Passions roar to life with this fast paced story, I love Blake and her fearlessness. Hutch in all his alphaness has such a warmth to him, I can see how Blake is falling for him. And Hana! What a treat she is. Camera in hand, she proves to be quite the woman. This is a great listen and one that should not be missed.

Lee Samuels is Hutch, and his voice is perfect. He is commanding and forceful, with a protective quality that shines in his portrayal. Samantha Brentmoor is Blake and she creates the brave and fearless qualities needed for her. I love this team, they gel well together and always bring us an enjoyable listen.

Not up to Tia's usual

I hate saying this but I was really disappointed reading this book. Fearless is not what you expect from the author of the One to Hold series.

This book comes off rushed and almost like it wasbsupposed to be a novella with how quickly everything moves. They're only enemies for what...3 chapters!?! Magically, lust cures all their past issues.

I hate that I expected more. Tia's wroting usually moves me- either emotionally, physically (wink wink, nudge nudge), or both. (Usually both!) This did neither. I felt like I was rushing through a prequel to get to the real story. The characters had potential but never quite gave me something to cling to. The story had potential but it just whizzed right on by at warp speed. Never giving you time to sink into it.

I'm so disappointed and it kills me to type this but- I would avoid this book and do a reread of One to Hold.

Second chance
Frenemies to lovers
Single dad

So many things to describe this amazing book, and the author knocks every one of them out of the park. Add in the drama, secrets and intrigue and you’ve got a book you won’t be able to put down.

You’ll need a fan, a cigarette and a cold shower after reading
